Ken is a native of Michigan and a graduate of Kendall College in Grand Rapids, as well as the Illustrator’s Workshop in Tarrytown, NY.
He was a six-year member of the Art Advisory Council at Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Michigan. He is a member of the National Watercolor Society.
He has built a strong national reputation while working for advising agencies and design firms as an illustrator and later worked as a Senior Artist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL before moving to Greensboro in 1987.
Ken is now painting full-time along with giving lessons at his home and doing workshops. His paintings and prints are in private and corporate collections throughout the world.
